Faster Workflows and Proven Consistency from Slides 1 to 1,600
Your time matters. Speed up slide processing while maintaining quality and consistency with the HistoCore SPECTRA Workstation, the only workstation that provides consistent staining from slides 1 to 1,600. It also offers the fastest glass coverslipping drying time on the market at only 5 minutes, processing slides that are instantly dry to the touch.

Market-Leading Throughput and Drying Time
The first and only solution in the market with dual glass coverslip lines enabling the highest throughput: up to 570 dried slides per hour. With an integrated hot air drying oven, it achieves a drying time of only 5 minutes, providing the fastest turnaround time for your lab.
Boost Coverslipping Throughput and Efficiency
The dual and independent coverslip lines don’t just deliver the highest throughput, they also give users the flexibility to manually load slides in a continuous workflow. In addition, the coverslipper features an enhanced lay down mechanism, a smooth handling process (push method for coverslipping readiness), and validated ready-to-use consumables with RFID technology. These consumables include the HistoCore SPECTRA CV X1 rapid drying, xylene-based mounting media. An antioxidant is added to inhibit stain fading and prevent the formation of annual rings. It sets up quickly, allowing slide preparations to be handled immediately after mounting.

The 9-rack output drawer can handle a total capacity of 270 slides. That allows users to focus on the many other important tasks throughout the lab.

The unique glass detection sensor automatically removes and transfers broken coverslips to better protect the safety of the user while handling slides and to help maintain the integrity of tissue specimens.

The new coverslipping process supports smooth handling of different slide labels, providing flexibility you demand.

The Leica CV5030 fully automated glass coverslipper produces slides with superior optical quality for reliable long-term storage.
Its capability of handling a large variety of slide racks from different suppliers makes the Leica CV5030 very flexible. Most common mounting medias, including xylene-free varieties, can be used.
The operator can choose wet or dry coverslipping. The CV5030’s performance achieves three goals: Highly consistent and reliable coverslipping quality, full adaptation to individual laboratory set-ups, integration into staining/coverslipping workstations to form a fully automated walk-away system*.
*Only withing range of audibility.

Rigorous cyber security including encryption and login controls

Easily and securely scan slides at a spoke location and store images at a Hub location for all sites to log in and view images

HL7 and PACS ready, for easy integration into LIS, LIMS or PACS

The Leica ST5020 Multistainer produces consistent, high-quality results for both routine and special stains and can perform single or multiple protocols at the same time.
Consistent Quality and Convenience
The Leica ST5020 reagent management system (RMS) helps to monitor reagent expiration, reagent rotation and stain quality. As a result: Reagent changes minimize disruptions to workflow and reduce delays.
Patented CodeRack technology automatically selects the staining protocol and starts the run when a rack of slides is loaded. This ensures correct program selection.
The RMS in conjunction with validated Surgipath reagents and protocols, e.g. Leica ST Infinity H&E Staining System, ensures superior staining and coverslipping quality.

HistoCore SPECTRA CV X1 is a rapid drying, xylene based mounting media. An antioxidant is added to inhibit stain fading and prevent the formation of annual rings. It sets up quickly, allowing slide preparations to be handled immediately after mounting. SPECTRA X1 is soluble in xylene, toluene, and most xylene substitutes.
HistoCore SPECTRA CV Coverglass allows for maximum reduction of fingerprints due to ready-to-use coverglass cartridges. Enhanced packaging reduces broken coverglass and humidity.

SelecTech is a hematoxylin and eosin staining system consisting of Hematoxylin 560, Blue Buffer 8, Define, Alcoholic Eosin Y 515 and Eosin Trichrome 515.
SelecTech standardizes the reagents and stains used in the hematoxylin and eosin staining procedure. The reagents and stains that make up this new system must pass vigorous analytical chemistry standards and performance tests.
The built-in quality assurance parameters assure consistent results. The reagents and stains in SelecTech are designed to complement each other to produce a crisp, well delineated hematoxylin and eosin stain.
