Building a Digital Pathology Network

Through the COVID-19 pandemic the flexibility and resilience offered by digital pathology have never seemed more important if we want to future-proof our diagnostic services and ensure we can continue to deliver a high-quality histopathology service in a timely manner.

The first volume of The Leeds Guide to Digital Pathology was designed to answer some of the basic questions that need to be addressed when planning a digital deployment. We wanted to share very practical advice that could act as a foundation for other departments to start planning and implementing their own digital pathology services.

Now we can present The Leeds Guide to Digital Pathology Volume II to update the global pathology community on the National Pathology Imaging Co-operative (NPIC), UK project and share insights into more complex and topical aspects of digital pathology deployment.

Building on this experience Volume II delivers practical information together with expert insight to the global digital pathology community. The key focus areas covered are:
